Join over 3,700 EVCs on The EVC Register

The EVC Register is a single, online register of trained Educational Visits Coordinators. It’s free to join and open to all EVCs trained on an appropriate EVC course. Join The EVC Register to display your certification(s) and easily share links to enable employers to verify your training. There’s a digital badge to add to your LinkedIn profile too. The EVC Register is integrated with EVOLVE systems to make it even easier to access.

EVCs trained by EVOLVE Advice will automatically be added to The EVC Register, but others are welcome to join too. If you’ve got a current EVC certificate from an OEAP Course Director*, all you need to do is complete a short form and once your certificate is verified, your profile will go live. And don’t worry, you can choose how much or how little information you share on the public register.

Let Us Out! Campaign goes to UK Parliament

The campaign for residential visits for all children and young people went to the UK Parliament this week. At an event, organised by The Outward Bound Trust, MPs and guests from the outdoor education sector heard from 17 year old Freya, and Emma Bonnin, Head of Pakeman Primary School in Central London, about why these experiences are so important. Their stories helped demonstrate the way that educational visits and residentials can truly be life-changing, through improvements in mental health and wellbeing as well as opening children’s eyes to new possibilities.

MPs were encouraged to support the private members’ bills currently making their way through the UK , Scottish and Welsh parliaments. Find out more about the campaign and how you can get involved: https://www.outwardbound.org.uk/letusout.
