  • Salary: £26,500.

  • Location: Long Buckby, Northamptonshire (Hybrid working available – min 60% office/40% home after probationary period). If hybrid, you’ll need a fast and stable internet connection and a quiet space for online meetings.

  • Occasional travel may be required for events and conferences.

We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and growing team at EVOLVE Advice – the educational visits specialists.

At EVOLVE Advice, we’re passionate about supporting schools, Trusts and Local Authorities to plan and deliver safe, high-quality educational visits. We provide trusted advice, guidance and training to over 4,500 schools worldwide and are recognised across the sector for our expertise and commitment to learning beyond the classroom.

As our Communications and Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in sharing our story, helping us engage new audiences, celebrate our impact, and strengthen relationships across the education community.

Need to know

  • Full-time, permanent position (part-time may be considered).

  • Salary: £26,500.

What does the role look like?

Marketing and Communications

  • Create engaging content for our website, newsletters, magazine and social media channels.

  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns, events, and publications.

  • Maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current and drives engagement.

  • Support the wider team with marketing and design tasks, including producing presentation slides, resources and marketing communications.

  • Support with our internal communications.

Brand

  • Capture and share success stories from our work with schools and Trusts.

  • Organise and maintain image library and brand assets.

  • Ensure all communications reflect the EVOLVE Advice tone, values, and brand.

Administration and Support

  • Keep our marketing contact databases up to date.

  • Track engagement and performance data across communication channels to inform comms and marketing activity.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Communications and Marketing Manager and wider team as needed.

We are looking for someone who…

  • Is an excellent communicator, written, visual, and verbal.

  • Has an eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.

    Is confident using and learning digital tools such as Canva, social media schedulers, and website CMS platforms (we’ll provide training if needed).

  • Is proactive, organised, and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.

  • Has a positive attitude and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

  • Wants to grow, develop and have fun with our content.

  • Embraces change and wants to make a difference.

Ideally, you’ll also have…

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • An understanding of the education sector or educational visits (desirable but not essential).

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and design/ layout/ photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop/ InDesign, Vimeo etc.) and/or willing to learn.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO.
