Educational Visits Trainer
Full-time* (Monday-Friday) | Permanent | Immediate Start | Office/Hybrid
£30,000 FTE
*We will also consider part-time school hours 09:00-14:30 (Monday-Friday) and/or Term time only.

About this role
Are you passionate about educational visits and learning beyond the classroom? Do you have the skills and confidence to train school leaders, EVCs, and staff so they can plan and deliver safe, high-quality educational visits? If so, this is the role for you!
We’re looking for an Educational Visits Trainer to join our team at EVOLVE Advice – The Educational Visits Specialists.
EVOLVE Advice provides world-class advice, guidance and training to Schools, Local Authorities and Trusts on all matters relating to learning outside the classroom. We support almost 4,000 schools globally, have a demonstrable growth record, and are recognised across the sector for our expertise and commitment to high-quality training.
As an Educational Visits Trainer, you will deliver our suite of accredited training courses (see our full list of courses here), ensuring participants leave confident, knowledgeable, and equipped to manage and lead visits effectively. This role includes full training in our courses, with ongoing support and CPD from our team.
Need to know
This is a full time position (0.6 part time is possible).
Training delivery will be both online and in person, depending on client needs.
You will need flexibility to travel to schools and Trusts across the UK on occasion, with most sessions booked well in advance.
For hybrid, you must have fast and stable internet and a quite place to deliver without distruption.
When you are not training you will be part of the advice team supporting schools
Salary: £30,000 per year (FTE). Location: Long Buckby, Northamptonshire (Hybrid working available)
Your responsibilities
Training Delivery
Deliver high-quality, engaging training across our established suite of courses.
Support delegates to apply learning to their own setting, ensuring impact beyond the training room.
Provide accurate, up-to-date information in line with national guidance and good practice.
Professional Practice
Engage with company CPD, training and events as well as update your own interests and knowledge on sector developments.
Represent EVOLVE Advice with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
Provide feedback and suggestions to support the continuous improvement of our training offer.
We are looking for someone who ….
Is an engaging, confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
Can adapt their training style to suit different audiences, from teachers to senior leaders.
Understands the importance of both safeguarding and risk management in educational visits.
Has experience of leading, managing or supporting educational visits in schools or the wider education/outdoor sector.
Is proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or above), or an equivalent recognised teaching/training qualification.
Ideally… (desirable but not essential)
Experience working directly with education establishments and EVOLVE systems (we will provide training as needed)
Holds a PGCE/Teaching Qualification
Previous use of Apple Mac computers desirable
Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. NEBOSH/NCRQ certificate or above)
IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to complete immediately at our cost)
Holds outdoor instructor qualifications (all considered)
Has led educational visits for school or youth groups
