Excellence in Educational Visits Management Award
Regulation 5 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 Act requires effective monitoring to take place, having regard to the nature of activities and size of undertaking. We have developed an Award for schools to undertake to check compliance and good practice in Educational Visits Management.
What is it?
The Award for Excellence in Educational Visits Management is designed to recognise schools who have excellent safety management for educational visits. It is designed as a reflective and supportive process to help you improve your mananagement of educational visits.
Why do it?
For many schools audits are part of the day to day tasks, however many of these are not reflective or supportive. We believe our role is to support schools in being the best at getting better and this Award is no different. The process guides you to improvements where required and offers suggestions and templates along the way. Your professional discussion will be lead by one of our experienced Advisers and as such will further help embed your improvements.
How does it work?
The process is 4 steps:
Sign up and complete the online audit and upload evidence;
Action any recommendations;
Undertake a professional discussion;
Receive and install your plaque in the reception area and the digital image on your website.
What does it cost?
The Process and Plaque is chargeable at £250+vat per school. If a deferral is required a re-assessment is free any further assessments are chargeable at £50+vat per assessment.
