What is the STAGED approach and how do I use it?
The STAGED approach is a simple acronym representing six key areas that you need to consider in your planning and risk management. It can be used by an individual, but we always recommend working together with your visit team – and consulting key staff such as the DSL and Designated Allergy Lead – to ensure you’re drawing on the wider skills, knowledge and expertise around you.
It doesn’t replace effective training – the STAGED approach is covered in detail on our EVC Training courses – or advice and guidance from experienced staff, rather it builds on this, giving you an effective framework for your planning.
