Widening Access to Qualifications Through Inclusive Outdoor Learning
This workshop explores how inclusive outdoor learning and flexible qualification pathways can widen access for learners who may struggle in traditional educational environments.
Through outdoor learning, virtual field trips and accessible qualification design, meaningful environmental learning can still happen when traditional access is difficult.
Delegates will explore practical examples from our Ofqual-regulated Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. The session will share how flexible, scaffolded approaches can support EOTAS, home-educated and neurodivergent learners to access conservation, sustainability and outdoor learning while working towards recognised qualifications and future pathways.
