Your Speaker

Ben Brittain-Dodd, Educational visits manager and Advisor for Hampshire Outdoors, supporting establishments across the South of England. With career highlights including numerous early years beach visits where sand eating is a given, coasteering guiding where you encourage people to jump off things, leading numerous overseas expeditions to developing world locations, inspecting on behalf of the HSE for AALA licensing, advising on outdoor learning in the Highlands of Scotland where there are sea lochs in the school grounds to use and managing residential centres & programmes focused supporting children and young adults to enhance the opportunities available to them.

Ben is an OEAP Accredited Advisor and EVC trainer, has a breadth of Outdoor qualifications to lead adventurous activity, complimentary Health & Safety qualifications/training and if very passionate about water safety awareness training that ensures people make considered choices to enable them to be in and around water safely. Often found sea swimming, trying (and failing) to climb mountains as quick as he did when he was 20 and persuading his own children to do as many school visits and activity as they can.
