Educational Visits Emergency Kit - MediPac
MediPac is a dedicated travel pack for spare adrenaline auto devices (AAIs) and asthma inhalers.
Take this emergency kit with you on your educational visits to keep your emergency medication protected and accessible in an allergy or asthma emergency.
Allergy is common, serious and potentially life-threatening on and off the school site.

Spare adrenaline devices
Schools are required to hold spare adrenaline devices under Benedict’s Law as enacted in the Children, Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026. These spare devices must be accessible in the event of an allergy emergency, known as anaphylaxis. Department for Education guidance ‘Allergy Safety in Schools’ sets out the Government’s expectations on schools for allergy safety.
Children and young people with severe allergies should carry two adrenaline devices at all times, including taking them on educational visits. There are also children and staff without prescribed adrenaline or those who have unknown allergies.
When participating in activities off the school site e.g. educational visits, Local Area Visits, Forest School activity or other outdoor learning, the DfE advises schools to risk assess the need for additional spare adrenaline devices.

What’s included?
The packs are insulated and come with a set of our popular First Aid Emergency pocket guides, which includes what to do in an allergy emergency.
Also included is 10 free licences for our Allergy Safety on Educational Visits e-learning (usual price £15 per licence).
Inside you’ll find a treatment record card to complete and send to hospital with the person who has received adrenaline. We’ve added a pen so you always have one to hand.
What’s not included?
Your MediPac does not include medication. Use our template pharmacy letter to source spare AAIs.
There is space for two spare Adrenaline Auto Injectors (Jext/ EpiPen) and a spare asthma inhaler.

Packs cost £48 (including VAT, postage and packing).
10 e-learning licences (worth £150) are included in the price and are redeemed via a code provided with the pack. One set of First Aid Emergency Cards is also included (worth £5). Additional e-learning and emergency cards can be purchased during check-out.
