Passport and border requirements for school travel
Are you aware of the latest requirements for travel between the UK and Europe? Are you confident about applying them?
In this Q&A webinar, Andy Smith (EVOLVE Advice) and Silvia Avvertenza (Rayburn Tours) will discuss scenarios and common questions relating to passports, visas, dual citizenship, entry requirements and how to prepare for travel.
When? Friday 15 May 2026. 12:00- 13:00
Where? Online via zoom. FREE
Who is it for? EVCs, school leaders and all those responsible for educational visits in schools.
What is it all about?
Schools taking groups on overseas visits are dealing with a rapidly changing, and sometimes conflicting, set of rules for travel between the UK and Europe. The European Entry and Exit Scheme (EES) is being rolled out to all points of entry, and ETIAS is due to begin this year, introducing additional requirements for travellers.
As EVCs and Visit Leaders, you need to know the rules and how they apply to your group.
Many of you will have at least one young person or staff member whose situation will need a bit more thought and you’ll need enough time to get their documents in order before travel to avoid travel delays or – worst case scenario – them missing out on your visit.
In this Q&A webinar, Andy Smith (EVOLVE Advice) and Silvia Avvertenza (Rayburn Tours) will discuss scenarios and common questions relating to passports, visas, dual citizenship, consent, entry requirements and how to prepare for travel.
There will be time for questions prompted by the discussion. You can also submit questions in advance by emailing training@evolveadvice.co.uk.
