School travel between UK-France: need to know

When? Tuesday 28 April 2026. 11:00 - 11:45

Where? Online via zoom

Who is it for? EVCs, school leaders and all those responsible for educational visits in schools.

What is it all about?

Travel between Dover and Calais is a popular route for school groups travelling to Europe by coach. Following Brexit, documents and checks required at points of entry in Europe have changed leading to potential delays, particularly for larger groups. Streamlining this process this has been a major focus of efforts between UK government, ferry operators and the School Travel Forum, which represents school travel operators.

The MOANA process was introduced in April 2025 to ease pressures at Dover and is available for school groups to use. In this webinar for schools, P&O’s Chris Burrows-Goodwin will explain how the recently extended MOANA process works, and how to prepare for travel.

There will be time for questions.

Speakers: Chris Burrows-Goodwin, P&O Ferries, B2B Group & Agent Support Team Manager, Passenger

The webinar is free to attend.
