Who is it for? EVCs, school leaders and all those responsible for educational visits in schools.

What is it all about?

This webinar explores how inclusive outdoor learning and flexible qualification pathways can widen access for learners who may struggle in traditional educational environments.

Through outdoor learning, virtual field trips and accessible qualification design, meaningful environmental learning can still happen when traditional access is difficult.

You will explore practical examples from our Ofqual-regulated Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. The session will share how flexible, scaffolded approaches can support EOTAS, home-educated and neurodivergent learners to access conservation, sustainability and outdoor learning while working towards recognised qualifications and future pathways.

Your Speaker

Georgina Merckel Evans is the Learning Coordinator at Adventure Green, supporting the development and delivery of inclusive environmental and sustainability qualifications.

She works closely with learners, families, tutors and awarding bodies to help make qualifications more accessible for young people who may struggle in traditional educational settings. Georgina has a background in inclusive education, online learning and programme development and also works across business operations and programme development for purpose-led organisations supporting children, young people and families.

Your Speaker

Hannah Broughton MBE is the founder of Adventure Green, which delivers inclusive environmental and sustainability qualifications for young people.Hannah leads multidisciplinary teams of therapists, academics and outdoor professionals to create and adapt accessible qualifications in nature connection, sustainability and conservation for learners who may struggle in traditional educational settings.

She was awarded an MBE in 2024 for services to children, young people and their families
