EVOLVE Advice launches Beyond the Gates
EVOLVE Advice has launched Beyond the Gates: guidance for educational visits and related activities.
Beyond the Gates is written by EVOLVE Advice for our clients. It is designed to complement existing guidance and legislation and to support planning. If you are not a client of EVOLVE Advice, you are welcome to use Beyond the Gates with your employer’s agreement and on the understanding that your employer takes responsibility for its use in your setting. Always check with your Educational Visits Adviser before using the guidance.
Beyond the Gates is fully aligned with current health and safety legislation; statutory guidance on educational visits, safeguarding, allergy etc; wider regulation/guidance and OEAP National Guidance.
Andy Smith Director of Operations & Advice says
"Beyond the Gates has been written by EVOLVE Advice to make educational visits guidance clear, accessible and practical for our clients. We've brought our guidance together in one place, so Visit Leaders, EVCs and Heads can find what they need when planning and managing educational visits. It's clear, concise and easy to navigate. It will be updated regularly to reflect current guidance and legislation, so our clients can be confident they're always working from the latest guidance."
Alex Stebbings EVC at Haybrook College Says
"Thank you for the links to the Beyond the Gates guidance - this is so clear and easy to navigate. It will be a very valuable resource."
